Health Authority-Abu Dhabi (HAAD) conducted a survey in 2003 and found out that 40% of young adults in AUH don't exercise. ‘A-Z of Obesity Treatment’ conference was held in Abu Dhabi on 17th May 2009,Sunday. It only ended with the conclusion - According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), the UAE ranks 10th among countries with overweight people.

I do not have anything against fitness centers, but heyy people, the article about one of this region's well known scientific weight management company reported to expect opening 28 new centers across the region with a whooping AED 100 million expansion plan exactly a year back! It's stated here.
The other day, I got an email with obese persons' pictures attached to it, it (obesity) was disgusting (surely) and images were stuck in my head for days...here's a sample......

Not only do they taste better, they smell and look better too....Colourful - that's the word...You know you're obese when you stop looking at these colours...
